Biography

 
 

Dariusz Grabowski was born in Gizycko, Poland, the son of Stefania and Antoni Grabowski. His parents were responsible for introducing him at age four to the sounds of the piano which later became the foundation of his love and passion for music. He attended the School of Music in his hometown and began his early studies of music. At the age of seven he was already receiving distinguished honors in many Young Musicians Competitions.

Continuing his musical studies, Dariusz attended Fredrich Chopin College School of Music in Olsztyn, Poland and later attended one of the most prestigious jazz and classical music conservatories in the world, Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, Poland. He has performed on many stages and concert halls throughout the world and has entertained leading government officials including, the President of Poland, Secretary of State, Colin Powell, and former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich. He has also had the honor and distinction of performing for Queen Elizabeth and Pope John Paul II.

Dariusz began pursuing his desire to broaden his musical career and quickly became recognized as classical and jazz artist. His unique interpretations of Great Classics, jazz as well his own Transcriptions and Variations of Great Concert Masterpieces astound the audiences throughout the United States and abroad.
